Daikon radish microgreens

Daikon (also known as Japanese radish and Chinese radish) is a winter radish that's native to East Asia. The word "daikon" comes from the Japanese word for "big root” as it looks a little like a turnip, the picture shows how they look as a microgreen.
This radish is a fantastic source of vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant that promotes immune function. It's also rich in folate, an essential nutrient for red blood cell function.
It’s definitely one of the most colourful microgreens around with its yellow and lime green leaves and pick stems : )
Have you spotted them in our winter mix ?
